I took an avalanche rescue/safety training and ski touring course with Swiss Alpine Guide based in Interlaken/Grindelwald. Our certified guide, Hano, is amazing, experienced, professional, optimistic and one of the best guides I ever had. ⛷️ ❄️ Friends and I learned a lot of intensive knowledge of snow, avalanche, safety, backcountry/touring, guiding, risk management, and how to behave properly off-piste. Hano speaks English very well, concise and clear, also has a sense of humor of the course was not boring at all. He also gave a lot of small tips that you would not learn on YouTube or sth, really useful and interesting. The course was well-prepared and conducted at a good pace. If you’re looking for an avalanche course and touring combined in one trip, I recommend SAG team!! We will definitely come back for learning more from him and taking courses of other mountaineering stuffs! Thanks!! 🙏
I recently did an avalanche course in Switzerland with Hano, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in the mountains. He is hands down one of the best guides I’ve worked with — professional, calm, extremely knowledgeable, and very clear in how he explains things. What really stood out was how much fun we had while still taking the learning seriously. He created an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves, but safety was always the top priority. The balance between technical knowledge, practical field training, and actually enjoying the experience was perfect. Everything was well organized, the pacing was spot on, and I left feeling much more confident in my decision-making in the backcountry. I genuinely feel better prepared because of this course. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering avalanche training. Whether you're new to it or looking to sharpen your skills, you’re in very good hands with Hano. – Orri
I completed an avalanche and ski touring course in Interlaken, Switzerland, and the quality of training was exceptional. The instruction was clear, structured, and highly professional, with a strong focus on straightforward education in avalanche rescue and recovery techniques. The rescue training was practical and efficient, covering every step from transceiver search to probing and strategic shoveling in a direct and easy-to-understand way. It built real confidence in handling emergency situations. Ski touring with the group was a genuine highlight. The atmosphere was supportive and motivating, and touring together in such a spectacular setting made the learning experience even more rewarding. Hano, the instructor, was outstanding, knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher who made complex topics simple and engaging. An excellent course for anyone serious about developing strong avalanche rescue skills while enjoying quality ski touring.
Avalanche skitouring course for 2-days was really educating and fun! Our teacher Hano had relaxed, but professional and patiently guided our energetic group and answered all the questions. The whole weekends turned out to be alot of fun!! Highly recommended for avalanche awareness!
Did the mountaineering course of 4 day with the allalinhorn ascent and summit and i have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life, Hano and Andreas were incredible guides: really patient and always willing to explain stuff again, they dont just teach you they try to make you understand what you're doing and why, also they were great company. I'd do it again without blinking an eye🫶
My friends and I had booked a via ferrata months in advance, only to have our plans interrupted by weather. The company made efforts to re-organize the interrupted trips to accommodate us while we were still available in the region. The day we did our via ferrata was a beautiful day! Our mountain guide, Hano, was very experienced, and explained some of the history of the mountain and pointed out other mountain valley features to us. He was enjoyable to talk with, although he reminded us to re-focus and watched us closely, with safety in mind. We had a challenging, but amazing experience with incredible views, and we are appreciative to the company for making this happen for us!
