Did an avalanche class with them * Teaching quality 3/5 * Group leading quality of the guide/teacher 1/5 The guide allowed the situation between a participant and himself to deteriorate to the point that the participant left the group and made their way back alone. This was entirely avoidable. The only thing standing in the way was the ego of the guide.
This is my experience on ski touring. Avoid them at all cost if you want a proper ski touring experience. We did a private tour and the only goal of the guide was to move from A to B in minimal time. Even with a foot injury, I climbed 1km in 3 hours with ski touring on day 2 and the guide literally yelled right in front of my face that I was too slow and put him in risk of avalanche. The guide never even looked at the injury but the people in the hut helped. It was the worst spent 2000 CHF in my life and I felt guilty that I didn't give this money to a charity. I'd rather hike with an animal than such an uncivilised person. (edit) it was 2-4 April.
Great people and their gear for rent is well kept. I would recommend it for everyone.
call them, get great advice
We booked a private moonlight snowshoe hiking tour with Martin. It was a wonderful and adventurous experience! Martin picked up us on time and instructed us regarding how to the snowshoe, how the tour is planned very clear. We hiked in the snow and chatted about a lot interesting things. We walked around 3.4km, and had several break. Martin shared nice hot punch drink with us and some snack. He is patient and friendly. At the end, we got good luck to see the full moon! In general, I would highly recommend this snowshoe hiking tour.
We had booked a snowshoe hike followed by a raclette dinner. It was lovely. Unfortunately, the guide simply forgot about us. The three of us women were slower than the other eight participants. We also wanted to enjoy the time and explore the surroundings.
