Less chaotic than some of the lower stations, but still expect crowds - this is where you change for the train to Eigergletscher and Jungfraujoch. Everything runs efficiently, and there’s even a free toilet, which is always a win at this altitude. Great views while you wait for your connection.
Since my Berner Oberland Pass covered the ride from Wengen, where I stayed, to Kleine Scheidegg so I went to check it out, why not? It's a scenic ride even on an overcast day. Kleine Scheidegg was beautiful and I would like to revisit in the future.
Kleine Scheidegg station is the perfect alpine stop on the way to Jungfrau! The historic platforms and clear signage make transfers easy, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery—it’s a charming, memorable midway point.
I took a break here while traveling from Jungfrau to Lauterbrunnen. The views are breathtaking, and you only need to walk a few steps from the train station to see them. It's a quick and beautiful stop along the way.

We just had a terrible experience in Kleine Scheidegg. A man named Hofer, who works for the train company, was yelling at people like a madman. It seems they don’t understand that their income and the company itself depend on tourism. This employee, Hofer, is a disaster for the train company.
