Rats had taken up residence in my compost heap at the back of the garden. My neighbor behind me is nice, but he told me, "If you don't sort this out, I'm calling the town hall." I called Nova. The guy came, took a look, and said, "You have to remove the compost; it's an all-you-can-eat buffet." He helped me empty it, treated the area, and put up grates. He came back twice to check. My neighbor invited me for drinks last week. Sometimes pest problems can cause friction between people, but in this case, it worked things out.

Every year, ants get in the kitchen in the spring. This year, they arrived in February. I tried everything: store-bought products, chalk, vinegar. Nothing worked.
