Yesterday, I went grocery shopping at Importas, a store in Bern that offers a wide range of essentials like spices, veggies, rice, pulses, oil, and fish. Though it’s far from my place, it’s worth the trip due to the limited options in Bern. You can reach it via Tram 8 to Saali, followed by a 1 km walk. The store is well-stocked, neatly arranged, and gave me a nostalgic feel of India. Prices are a bit high but lower than Aggarwal’s. The staff is helpful—at checkout, the cashier noticed my okra wasn’t fresh and had it replaced. Pro tip: Buy items unavailable in other supermarkets like Coop, Migros, or Otto’s.

Quite far from the tram station... Need to walk a bit with the baggages.. otherwise it is a good place indeed than a better place than Agarwal... Cost wise

Very happy to have a tamil shop nearby, but the service isn't any good now. Specially the guy with the beard at the fish counter is very rude.
