Excellent care from Ms. Dr. med. Nathalie Plangger. Great communication skills in English. Always very helpful and caring. First Class Professional!
Overall, a very bad experience. I wanted to change pediatricians because we were very dissatisfied with our previous doctor at the practice. She seemed overwhelmed, even with simple questions, and sometimes reacted very rudely or even insolently. As parents, you simply don't feel well cared for there. When I then wanted to change doctors within the practice, I was initially told that this was generally not possible. Three weeks later, I followed up by email. After that, the practice owner called me, and suddenly it was said that the other doctors had no availability. The statements were contradictory and completely incomprehensible to me. The way parents were treated was disappointing overall. You get the feeling that you're being rushed through rather than having your questions or concerns addressed. Especially at a pediatric practice, I expect more understanding, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice at all.
Unfortunately, my son was repeatedly prescribed antibiotics by Dr. Pfäffli from infancy. No attempt was ever made to prevent what started as middle ear infections and then recurring strep throat. The explanation was always that some children are prone to bronchial issues, while others are more susceptible to tonsillitis or middle ear infections. When I requested a referral to an ENT specialist, as part of the family doctor model, it was refused. I then arranged an appointment myself. My son was treated with a bacterial culture for two months and hasn't needed antibiotics for three years now. Had I not taken this step, he would still be taking antibiotics four to five times a year. Dr. Pfäffli is certainly a meticulous doctor, but in my opinion, she is too cavalier in her use of antibiotics and too influenced by the pharmaceutical industry. Medicine treats the symptoms but usually not the underlying cause. The consequences of excessive antibiotic use can be very serious and ultimately do not solve the problem.
This was my first visit to the practice today. Dr. Pfäffli and medical assistant Ms. Bleuer were very friendly and competent. Thank you so much for the excellent care!
A wonderful and very kind pediatrician! I took my three children (now all adults) first to Dr. Brändle, then to Dr. Berger. Dr. Berger is very competent and incredibly kind to the children. The best pediatrician with a wealth of expertise! 👍🏼😊 I can wholeheartedly and confidently recommend the entire team of doctors. 😊 …
NEVER AGAIN! I had a very bad experience with Dr. Pfäffli from this group practice. I would NEVER again send my child to this practice for treatment.
