First Impressions of the Faster Shortly after purchasing it, I had the opportunity to try out the Faster for the first time. From the very first meter, I felt extremely comfortable on the bike. Everything fit together perfectly, which further reinforced my positive impression. Riding Impression and Performance The bike practically begs you to ride faster. The acceleration is particularly impressive and truly exceptional. On straight stretches, I noticed a significant difference compared to the Rose X-Lite 6. The Faster really shines there, providing a completely new riding experience. The bike also impresses on descents: It steadily gains speed and continues smoothly and quickly. Consultation and Fit At this point, I would like to sincerely thank you again for the expert advice. I am extremely satisfied with my choice of bike, as all the measurements are a perfect fit and give me the feeling that I made the right decision. Outlook I am already looking forward to my next rides and upcoming training sessions and am eager to see what further impressions the Faster will deliver.

Very disappointing – wouldn't buy here again I bought an Ikarus bike and wouldn't buy it again today. – Despite my reservations, I was advised to go for a larger frame size. After the first ride, I felt uncomfortable, but was asked to "ride for at least 20 hours." Nothing changed after that; a frame upgrade was no longer offered. – From the very beginning, I had problems with the SRAM Red brake (whining). It was only after replacing the disc, pads, and finally the brake caliper that it was resolved. (Costs were fully covered by myself, with no contributions from ikarus.) – A screw on the derailleur hanger came loose on its own, and the rear derailleur almost fell off. – After about 6 months, cracks appeared in the handlebars, despite normal use and never improper transport. – I found the warranty process to be rather uncustomer-oriented: either the full cost risk of CHF 600, or a "special price" of CHF 280, but I always felt like I was being threatened with higher prices. – Spare parts are extremely expensive (handlebars are more expensive than top-of-the-line Specialized models) – Handlebars/seatposts from other suppliers are barely or not at all compatible Communication was difficult, and solutions were offered only hesitantly. Overall, I spent a lot of money on a bike that disappointed me from the start and received little support when issues arose.
