A simple safety inspection of an electricity submeter thus resulted in costs of approximately CHF 300. It is questionable whether services such as coordination and consultation with the grid operator, as well as the use of a measuring vehicle including measuring equipment and tools, were even provided in this simple case. The actual work involved in the inspection, which involved only a single measuring device and was estimated to take well under half an hour, plus the recording of three readings on a prepared form and the signature of a project manager (!), cannot justify such high costs. Since the company is located at the same address, the very low travel costs and time could not have contributed to such high costs either. The invoiced costs are therefore estimated to be at least 100% higher than the actual costs incurred. Therefore, due to its questionable business practices, the company cannot be recommended for carrying out small orders.
