Friendly and welcoming staff. Despite the fact that the municipality is German-speaking Switzerland, they made the effort to speak French as well. This contrasts sharply with some other municipalities bordering Biel/Bienne that make no effort whatsoever and do nothing to help the integration of Swiss residents whose native language is French. During the pandemic, social distancing measures are in place, with protective barriers at the counter and hand sanitizer available at the entrance.
