This is the grill on top of the mountain, so of course the atmosphere is awesome! I liked the food too. We got two of the brats with some fries and everything was good! We liked the bread with the coleslaw because it was a fun twist on a brat. The service was quite nice as well.
Looks like Europeans don't like this place. My wife and I are American and Zambian, and we think it's great. We spent almost two weeks in Switzerland, and this was the best food we had. We had the Pilatus dog (bratwurst on a bun) and fries, along with beer. A very skillful Nigerian guy was running the place. The sandwich was absolutely perfect. Excellent sausage, crunchy fried onions, and a rustic roll. Just beautiful. After this, when we tried bratwurst at other places, we found it very disappointing. The Swiss are not great cooks. They serve bratwurst on a plate with limp onions and cold canned brown sauce. I actually walked back to the grill area to take a video of the cook and tell him he was a genius. The fries were flawless. No issues. They had a big selection of sauces, too. Extremely smart, given the international clientele. Fortunately, the beer was not Swiss. Erdinger. Very nice. Swiss beer is generally bad. A food establishment doesn't have to be expensive or pretentious to deserve 5 stars. They should open more of these in places like Lucerne. Swiss food is generally awful. This was a welcome break. I wish I could get this meal here in the US. Well done, Nigerian chef genius!
The bratwurst was fine and the fries were extremely good. For being a food stand on top of a mountain it could be a lot worse and a lot pricier

Decent options for a reasonable price considering where it is located. The food tested great and fresh. Enjoying a beer with that view is hard to beat.
