Wonderful hotel with a very friendly staff! I was traveling with a group of teens and adults and we had stayed in a total of 5 hotels on our trip, and Flue Matte was by far the cleanest. The meals served to us were also delicious, and the staff came around to offer second helpings, which everyone loved. In the evenings the patio offers a beautiful and serene mountain view. The owner/manager offered soccer balls for the kids to play at the soccer nets located in back of the hotel. The rooms are very simple, but adequate and clean.

Rooms are a little small by American standards, but, are perfectly acceptable for European standards. The service at the inn has been top notch, and all of the staff have been extremely friendly and very accommodating to our large group that is traveling through Europe. If you just need a single bed, I highly recommend room 303 as the view is breathtaking in the setting sunlight. I bet the sunrise is just as fantastic. Plus, they have moo cows, and you can never go wrong with moo cows.
