Very expansive!!!

We were a group of six for dinner here at the end of May 2025, and it was very delicious. I had duck with garlic sauce. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy at the time. The staff were extremely busy and couldn't keep up. We sometimes had to wait quite a while to be served. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy; I will definitely come back.

It was very good and the service was excellent. Reservations are recommended. You need to be a little patient. If the restaurant is full, it can take a while in the kitchen. But that's normal since everything is freshly prepared. No reason to deduct a star. I'd gladly come again.

Excellent discovery! The Thai Palappa restaurant offers delicious and authentic cuisine, with perfectly balanced dishes rich in flavor. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the team is welcoming. The place is also very well located, making it an excellent option for a quality lunch or dinner. I recommend it.

I ordered 3 shrimp soups, 2 of which were not spicy and 1 regular. What happened? I got the wrong order? 2 were very spicy, no taste, just spicy. Tried calling 3 times and no one answered. I didn't feel welcome the first time I've visited a restaurant. The manager came straight up to me and showed me that I had to stay outside because dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant. Then I went to the restaurant and saw that there were two dogs inside. Forgot my order and then came to me and said the excuse was that the typing machine was having problems. Then the next his employee came and told me that the manager forgot to type. I won't be going to this restaurant again and won't recommend anyone to go there.

This was our first time at Thai Palappa in Sarnen, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely atmosphere. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses. The food is freshly prepared, and it shows. The service was also very friendly, attentive, and always helpful. We will definitely be back... the trip from Lucerne to Sarnen is well worth it!
