The girl was really rude. I really don't understand how people here don't speak english, I really expected kindof-young swiss people to at least understand. It is suposed to be a handmade bakery but the girl had no idea what was on the paatries. That, or she really did not understand english at all.

A top bakery with a grocery store. They have a large selection of wonderful breads and very fine pastries. The homemade chocolate, delicious pastries, and beautifully decorated gingerbread are outstanding. The best Bernese hazelnut gingerbread also comes from this bakery. Unfortunately, it's only available during the Christmas season. I've had customer gifts made here several times. It worked perfectly; they were beautiful and absolutely delicious. Of course, they also offer the local specialty, meringue.
