The renovation, with new workspaces and areas for relaxation, was well worth it! A little oasis in the middle of everyday life.
I was at the library with my dog today. There's no sticker saying dogs aren't allowed, but I was told that dogs are prohibited. When I asked why there wasn't a "no dogs allowed" sign on the entrance door, I was told, "We want to have as few restrictions as possible here!" That's totally hypocritical! They're trying to portray themselves as liberal. It's so ridiculous. Just put up a sticker and be done with it.
The library is beautifully furnished, but there are adults who speak very loudly, and some parents bring their children along for a walk and don't pay attention to keeping their children quiet. A library is supposed to be a quiet place for learning.
A very good library with a large and well-organized selection of books, magazines, films, CDs, comics, picture books, and more. The librarians are friendly and offer helpful recommendations. You can also watch films and listen to music on-site. The membership fee is very reasonable considering what's available.
It's important for dog owners to know where dogs are allowed and where they aren't. Dogs aren't a thing! They can't just be left outside! Dogs get stolen, too!
A wide selection of media of all kinds. A successful renovation with an outdoor area. A cozy café. A comfortable place to linger. Always worth a visit. Good location in the center of Köniz.
