Very nice cafe close to the train station. Super friendly staff and delicious cakes! Would definitely recommend
Nice and Cozy. Friendly staff.
I am writing this review in French because French is one of the four official languages of the Swiss Confederation. We buy bread, whole cakes, and local products (eggs, cheese, butter, sausages) several times a week. First, the negative points: how can you sell a deli meat product whose "best before" date expired less than 24 hours after purchase? I have attached photos of the labels, one expiring on February 26, 2026, and the other expiring less than 24 hours after purchase on January 18, which I had to eat immediately in a hurry a few hours later, on January 19, 2026. I bought the products on Sunday, January 18, 2026. This is disappointing, as we make a special and deliberate effort to support local producers. Secondly, the second point to address: you absolutely must train your staff to accept payment by two methods. To be clear: it's perfectly possible to pay part of the bill in cash and part by card; or to pay the same bill with two cards belonging to two different people, or with several bank cards belonging to multiple people. You need to train your staff because yesterday you had two customers who wanted to pay using two different methods, and you refused. Thirdly, we wanted to order more cakes in the 4-person size, as we've already bought your only two cakes in that size several times (unfortunately, there are only two). We went to your shop. Our request was refused twice. Finally, the positive points: the lovely welcome from the saleswoman, Sarina. She's a smiling, helpful, and welcoming young woman who made us want to come back. However, the question remains: are you truly committed to building customer loyalty?
We had a little time before catching the bus across the street from the train station to grab an espresso and a cappuccino! Delicious croissants to go with them. The sandwiches were also excellent. We'll be back!
The cappuccino was very good. I also really enjoyed the apple strudel. The staff were very friendly. I felt very welcome.
We were in Schwyz on business today and had to wait at the train station in very heavy rain. The taxi driver recommended the Schelbert confectionery shop right across the street – the coffee and strawberry tarts were excellent, the shop is beautifully decorated, and the service was friendly. We'd gladly go again!
