Lovely Alpine restaurant and dairy farm. Super friendly folks who were helpful and kind..
I didn't know they offered accommodation; I simply stopped there to enjoy the view and their mountain cheese. The place is magnificent.
A very beautiful, cozy alpine inn, nestled in nature. It's a shame the menu is so limited. Hot dishes consist of just the soup of the day, cold dishes include small and large cheese platters, small and large sausage platters, and a few desserts. It would be wonderful if the menu were expanded. Sausage and cheese salad, goulash soup, cervelat, veal, or farmer's sausage on the grill – just a few examples of dishes that could easily be offered. However, the hospitality is fantastic – friendly and attentive; everything about it is perfect. The rating is based on three stars due to the limited menu; everything else would easily warrant five.
HOSPITALITY: A very friendly family with warm hospitality. Thank you so much, Furrer family! MENU: The cheese and sausage were delicious. We felt completely at ease. OPENING HOURS: Open only in summer. FAMILIES: The hut is easily accessible from the Chäppeliberg - Spilau cable car station for families with children aged 4 and up.
Beautiful region, but the restaurant is average. They mainly serve cheese platters. The large meringue was simply more whipped cream. For a proper meal, the Linderenhütte is a better choice.
A very beautiful and secluded alpine pasture and inn. The overnight stay was very pleasant. Clean beds, a welcoming hostess, and a very friendly alpine family. We would love to come back again.
