Amazing place with a beautiful view. We were the only tourists and I think it is a very local place where people usually hang out. Big portions and delicious food. Prices are good for the food and this amazing view. Super friendly staff and they also speak super good english. Recommended 100%!!

We had a lovely lunch here on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day! The restaurant has an outstanding view of the lake from inside and outside. Not only this, but the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's also about 3 mins walking from the train station which is very handy (but don't let its proximity to the station discourage you, the area was very nice!). They also serve lunch a little later than many other restaurants nearby. Good price compared to many other restaurants in the town. Excellent service, tasty food, and unbeatable location!

Beautiful restaurant just around the Spiez train station. Very friendly service by the lady. The food looked big in portions size and tasty. Amazing view of the lake from the terrace. Recommend!!

We ordered for take away since we had a train to catch, so no photos of the food just of the beautiful scenery of the mountain and lake. The food was really good, unexpectedly so. There was no English menu so the server was very kind to walk us through it and translate each option to us. Definitely would recommend the "cheesecake" which is actually savory and more like a quiche. Had the chicken and rice, the soup goulash and salad. All were excellent!

The setting was beautiful, great views of the lake. The staff were very nice. My dad had the pork cordon bleu but it was a super tiny portion and very expensive, so he wasn't very happy with that, but the rest of us really enjoyed the food.
