We came with a large tour group to Hotel Minster and enjoyed the stay. The meals were savory and traditional. I wish the breakfast options were better and with hot breakfast. Go out for a walk around the friendly neighborhoods and sights. I wish the location had an elevator and better accessibility for people with disabilities.
Traveling with 30 people can be taxing but staying here is relaxing after a long day of bus and walking tours. Our breakfast was adequate but dinner was great Food is well prepared. Great voomon areas for students to kickback and socialize. …
We only used the pool. I like this place, not to many people. Ok, renovation is really needed. But I believe it is in process...
We stayed as a school tour group of 45 and had the whole lodge to ourselves. During our trip, we stayed at 5 different hotels/b&b's, all different degrees luxury. The general concensus was this one was the favorite. It felt like a rustic ski lodge, or a family cabin retreat. The kids loved playing ping pong, and hanging out in the common areas. We opened the windows at night to cool off our rooms, and the air was so clean and crisp! I was awakened by church bells every morning, which was nice to listen to. Our meals were very good and I would LOVE the recipe for that Alpine mac n cheese if you'd be willing to share! I plan to find a similar recipe to make for my family during our cold months. Such a cozy and hearty meal. Thank you for a comfortable and cozy stay, that made us all feel like we were in our home away from home. Would love to visit again. (Posting pics of our room view. We called it our Fiddler on the Roof room❤️)
This has to be one of the worst...I don't know of you can even call it a hotel. We had dinner here found a roach cooked in the sauce then one of the beds broke and it's generally just very old rustic. Don't recommend
Wonderful hotel. Great friendly staff. In a beautiful town. No air conditioning so that might be a factor in the warm summer
