I have been living in an apartment managed by Sideniza AG in Oerlikon since October 2022. From the very beginning, the team at Sidenzia made the application easy. My communications with Ms. Schläpfer and Ms. Matic have been very positive - they are responsive to emails and are always happy to speak on the phone. Not a Swiss? Don't bother applying through Sidenzia, you will never be selected. As you probably already aware the difficulties of getting an apartment in Zurich, Sidenzia's approach is only making it more difficult for foreign nationals. I have strong evidence (perfect application in terms of income, long term permit, credit history, reference, long term commitment and need such as close to school or right size for the right no. of people, and I applied at least 20 different apartments through them, some of applications even got strong recommendations from current tenants, but they didn't event consider my application such as contact my referee to verify etc) they simply don't even look at foreign national applications if they see any Swiss applicants. And probably because of law against discrimination they don't admit this.
