Hotel Rigi Kaltbad — Zentrum 4a, 6356 Rigi Kaltbad, Switzerland

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia aquí, excelentes vistas desde nuestra habitación y el spa era el lugar perfecto para relajarse. Sin embargo, recomendaría aprovechar la oportunidad para usarlo durante la sesión exclusiva para residentes por las mañanas, ya que las tardes estaban mucho más ocupadas. La comida también era buena y no demasiado cara teniendo en cuenta la ubicación. Lo había notado en una reseña anterior, pero los escalones desde el área del dormitorio en las habitaciones de lujo son muy empinados. Realmente no afectó nuestra estadía, pero con 6 meses de embarazo y sin tener actualmente la mejor coordinación, tuve que ser cautelosa.

Fantástica ubicación, hermosa vista a los lagos y montañas y, al final del otoño, disfrute de los días soleados contemplando el mar de niebla en las tierras bajas. El Spa incluido en el Hotel con piscinas calientes naturales dentro y fuera es una experiencia emocionante: disfrute de un Apreo Spritz o Lavendel Gugo estando en el clima cálido viendo el atardecer detrás de las montañas. Muy buen desayuno con mucha comida local.

Overall very good experience. + Great bathing and spa area and phenomenal view and location. + Personell is very friendly and helpful. + Delicious buffet and menu options. - Wifi barely working in my room, the lobby and the restaurant. Could not even access a newspaper website consistently. - TV does not have HDMI access so cannot use it for streaming. - I had Halbpension, which costs an additional 50 CHF per day, to have dinner, but a simple glass of water was not included. I had to pay an additional 8.50 CHF for a bottle.

The restaurant used to be great for lunch after a hike around Rigi. Sadly they significantly downgraded the service and now instead of proper table service you get to wait 10min in a queue just to get a beeper and wait another 20min for your food. The food quality is average for the price. When McDonald's has better service than your restaurant, something has gone seriously wrong.

The hotel, rooms and staff are great. We enjoyed the SPA and mineral bath a lot. The view from the mineral bath and room were stunning as you can see the mountains. The restaurant & bar are also great only the main courses (dinner) were a bit bland. Overall we had a great time!
