Emplacement unique dans un réservoir naturel. Trop cher !
My fried fish, 38 CHF, was perfectly crispy & the potato was also perfectly cooked. The cloister salad, 13CHF, was also not bad but for both dish was not sufficient qty for the price. But I really enjoyed my food. My friend who had steak also said that the steak was very good.
Loved docking in this island and visiting this amazing place, if this is a 3 star hotel, it’s the nicest 3 star hotel I’ve ever visited. I love that they are pretty self sustained. As an old monastery they have their own farm and winery. Also, the rest of the produce and products they use in their restaurants come from around the lake. It’s also pretty cool to see architecture from so many different time periods including Roman, medieval and contemporary renovations (among others) working so well together. Definitely worth visiting, next time I’m staying overnight for sure. They have one main restaurant and one easy bistro, a farm and produce store, easy walk in and out (it’s really a peninsula even though it’s called St Peter’s island)It is completely flat. Also easy bike ride. There is a parking and boat shuttle from the closest point in Lüscherz or you can take the ferry.
At first my parents and I stopped by for a short lunch, yet were so disappointed by the lack of attention by the staff that we chose to just get coffee/tea. We were not greeted and had to wait for 15 minutes just to get our order taken....twice...after waiting another 20 minutes we chose to leave. This is truly unacceptable service and we will surely not stop by again.
