Nous avons passé 3 nuits à la mi-septembre dans un appartement avec balcon qui était assez cher à 500 $ la nuit. Le personnel était très hargneux, désagréable et a continué à être hostile pendant toute la durée de notre séjour. Quand nous sommes arrivés tôt en sachant…
Gimmelwald était absolument à couper le souffle et celui d'Esther était vraiment merveilleux. Cuisine entièrement équipée, nous avons donc pu préparer des repas, ce qui était génial car nous sommes venus hors saison et beaucoup de choses n'étaient pas ouvertes. Le service de blanchisserie était très utile pour notre long voyage. Les vues étaient exceptionnelles. Esther était très propre, organisée et calme (encore une fois, hors saison). Notre chambre avait un plafond plus bas que prévu, donc je me suis cogné la tête à plusieurs reprises, mais c'est surtout mon propre manque de conscience spatiale.

Esther's Guesthouse is hands down one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed as a world traveler. Nestled in a tranquil mountain town, it offers unmatched views that will take your breath away. If you’re seeking a peaceful getaway, this is the perfect destination, surrounded by stunning landscapes and an abundance of hiking and outdoor activities. The steep gondola ride to the town is an exciting adventure, and if you drive, you can park your car at the bottom of the gondola for the duration of your stay. Typically, they charge for parking, but during our visit, construction was happening, so we were fortunate enough to park for free. It’s just a 40-minute walk to Mürren, where you can find more dining and shopping options, but the charm of this quiet town is truly special. We rented a room with a private bathroom for two nights, and it exceeded all expectations—the room was clean, cozy, and featured a walk-in shower. The hospitality at the guesthouse was equally remarkable, making our stay even more enjoyable. If I could give this place a higher score, I absolutely would! We will definitely be returning to stay here again soon!
