Hôtel incroyable !! J'ai séjourné ici avec un groupe d'étudiants pendant l'été. L'emplacement est imbattable, avec de belles vues sur les Alpes et un bassin de baignade. Les propriétaires sont très serviables et gentils, la nourriture est délicieuse et les chambres sont impeccables. Je reviendrai certainement !

Les gens étaient très gentils et accueillants envers mon groupe. La nourriture pour le dîner était absolument délicieuse. Des vues incroyables, un emplacement incroyable et le lac était super rafraîchissant pour aller nager. Les lits sont super confortables. J'ai tellement aimé cet endroit que je le recommanderais certainement à tout le monde.

Je dois dire que c’était de loin la pire expérience hôtelière que j’ai jamais vécue. Dès mon arrivée, les problèmes ont commencé à s’accumuler. Le personnel de la réception était incroyablement peu professionnel et ne semblait absolument pas intéressé à aider les clients. J'ai été accueilli avec un regard froid et un « enregistrement » à peine audible sans même qu'on me demande ma pièce d'identité ou les détails de ma réservation - cela ressemblait plus à un inconvénient qu'à un accueil. Quand j'ai finalement reçu la clé de ma chambre, j'ai été conduit dans un couloir faiblement éclairé, ce qui m'a donné un mauvais pressentiment dès le début. En entrant dans la pièce, j'ai immédiatement remarqué une odeur de moisi qui imprégnait l'air. La moquette était tachée à plusieurs endroits et il y avait des taches de moisissure visibles le long du plafond de la salle de bain. Les draps du lit semblaient n'avoir pas été changés depuis des jours, avec quelques taches suspectes qui me faisaient douter de la propreté de toute la pièce. Pour couronner le tout, il y avait un bourdonnement désagréable provenant du climatiseur qui m'a empêché de dormir toute la nuit, et peu importe combien j'essayais de l'ajuster, la température restait trop chaude ou trop froide. La salle de bain n'était pas meilleure : il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la douche et les serviettes étaient fines et rugueuses, presque comme du papier de verre. J'ai essayé d'appeler la réception plusieurs fois pour obtenir de l'aide, mais à chaque fois, j'ai reçu soit un signal occupé, soit aucune réponse du tout. Le Wi-Fi, annoncé comme haut débit, était si lent qu'il était pratiquement inutilisable, rendant impossible tout travail. J’ai également remarqué plusieurs taches de longue durée dans l’ascenseur, qui n’avait pas été nettoyé depuis des semaines, voire jamais. Comme si tout cela ne suffisait pas, lorsque j'ai essayé de payer, le même membre du personnel désagréable qui m'avait enregistré m'a facturé des « frais de nettoyage » supplémentaires pour une chambre qui, franchement, ne répondait même pas aux normes minimales d'hygiène. Dans l’ensemble, cet hôtel a été un désastre complet et je ne le recommanderais à personne, même en dernier recours. Je serais parti plus tôt si je n’avais pas déjà payé à l’avance, mais je ne pouvais pas imaginer une autre nuit dans cet endroit épouvantable. Faites-vous une faveur et restez ailleurs. Ce n’était pas seulement décevant, c’était inacceptable.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin, because this stay was a disaster from the moment we arrived. I had booked this hotel based on the photos and decent location, but don’t be fooled—the pictures are either incredibly outdated or intentionally misleading. When we checked in, the front desk staff barely acknowledged us. There was no greeting, no smile—just a rushed check-in process that made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by simply showing up. It set the tone for the entire stay. Customer service was practically nonexistent, and any time we tried to ask a question or needed assistance, the staff acted annoyed or just flat-out ignored us. Once we got to the room, things went from bad to worse. The carpet was stained in multiple places, the furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or replaced in years, and there was a strong musty smell that hit us the moment we opened the door. We tried to open the window to air it out, only to find that it was either jammed shut or sealed permanently. The air conditioning barely worked, and when it did, it made a loud clunking noise every ten minutes, making it impossible to sleep. The bed linens were questionable at best. One of the pillowcases had what looked like a makeup stain on it, and there were small hairs on the supposedly “clean” sheets. The mattress felt like sleeping on a worn-out trampoline—uneven, lumpy, and uncomfortable. We asked housekeeping to change the sheets the next morning, but they never came. When we asked the front desk again later that day, they promised someone would be up “shortly.” Nobody ever showed. The bathroom was another nightmare. Mold in the corners of the shower, weak water pressure, and the towels were thin, grayish, and smelled like chlorine. The toilet would randomly run every few minutes, and there were mysterious brownish marks on the tile grout that made me seriously question their cleaning standards. The hotel also advertised complimentary toiletries, but all we got was a nearly empty shampoo bottle and a bar of soap that looked like it had been reused. Noise was another huge issue. We could hear everything—people talking in the hallway, doors slamming at all hours, and even someone snoring in the room next to ours. The walls are paper-thin. If you're hoping for a restful night, forget it. We barely slept. The so-called “amenities” were laughable. The gym was a tiny, windowless room with one broken treadmill and some outdated weights. The pool was closed “for maintenance” (which I now see mentioned in other reviews, so clearly it’s been “under maintenance” for a long time). The included breakfast was basically toast, instant coffee, and a few sad-looking apples. We ended up going elsewhere to eat every morning. Overall, this hotel was a complete disappointment. I would have left and stayed somewhere else if I hadn’t prepaid. It’s honestly shocking how poorly maintained and unprofessional this place is, especially for the price. Save yourself the stress and book literally anywhere else. This was a waste of time, money, and patience.

My partner and I have just returned from a week skiing holiday staying at hotel Twing and we couldn’t have had a better stay. The owners were so lovely and went above and beyond not only to make us feel welcome but help with difficulties …

My experience here was amazing! The Owners are very nice and attentive, and the location makes this hotel amazing. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Will most definitely be coming back!
