Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle du début à la fin. L'Oberer Mönchhof propose une cuisine suisse raffinée avec précision, équilibre et assurance culinaire évidente. J'ai commencé avec l'Entenleber, qui était exceptionnel et parfaitement préparé, riche mais élégant et magnifiquement équilibré par les éléments qui l'accompagnaient. Les saveurs étaient nettes et harmonieuses, permettant à la qualité de l’ingrédient de briller sans paraître lourde. Pour le plat principal, le filet de couenne était cuit à la perfection : tendre, plein de saveurs et accompagné d'une sauce profonde, structurée et savamment réduite. Chaque composant de l'assiette avait un but, créant un plat composé et satisfaisant. Au-delà de la nourriture, l'ambiance est calme et intimiste, et le service est attentionné, professionnel et ponctuel tout au long de la soirée. Compte tenu du niveau de cuisine, d'exécution et de service, le rapport qualité-prix global est excellent pour la gastronomie zurichoise. Un restaurant qui comprend vraiment la qualité, la retenue et la cohérence. Fortement recommandé

C'était un lundi calme dans la ville de Zurich. Je viens de terminer notre visite de Lindt et je tombe par hasard sur ce merveilleux restaurant. "Oberer Manchoh est une trouvaille fantastique ! L'emplacement est absolument magnifique et la nourriture est encore meilleure. J'ai eu le foie gras, qui était cuit à la perfection. Même si la sauce aux canneberges m'a manqué, elle était quand même incroyablement délicieuse. Le steak était également exceptionnel. Je le recommande vivement !"

This is a very nice traditional swiss house with amazing views to the lake Zurich that has been renovated. The menu is a one pager with several starters and several main dishes, with all kinds of flavor combinations. And they have a closed price for a 2 starters, a main and a dessert (drinks not included). The food was excellent: very well cooked and nicely presented. To be honest is the first time in 10 years that i see foie (duck liber) offered in a restaurant, almost no swiss person i know has ever heard of foie or even paté. Id like to remark that it's not the type of restaurant I would go any given weekend, since its very modern and creative, for me is more like a "special occasion" type of restaurant. The service was nice, although a tad slow. The starters took at least 15min to come, and from the second starter to the maim it took around 25min. The price is high, but you won't find this kind of food in many places, with so many well-thought, properly cooked, modern recipes.

One of the best experience I've ever had. The food was incredebly good, so the people, always nice and ready to help you enjoy of the experience. We really enjoyed the dinner and hopefully we will come back.
