Ci siamo seduti su alcuni posti a sedere scelti e abbiamo aspettato un po'. Nessun menu, nessuna cameriera, quindi siamo andati al bar self-service e abbiamo preso qualcosa da bere. Poi è arrivata mentre eravamo a metà dell'opera e ci ha detto molto sgarbatamente che non è un'area self-service e che dobbiamo spostarci. Abbastanza giusto da avere sezioni designate, ma sii gentile e servi le persone o lascia che si aiutino da sole, ma non c'è bisogno di essere cattivo con gli escursionisti stanchi che hanno già pagato.
Pro:|Vista straordinaria e aree per fare escursioni e godersi la natura. La funivia che ti porta su e giù fa viaggi frequenti, il che è comodo. ||Contro:|Il bagno e la doccia condivisi non fanno per me. |I materassi sono scomodi.
Questa è una recensione solo per il bar del Berghaus Niederhorn. Questo è un ristorante in cima alla montagna che offre sia una caffetteria self-service che un'opzione con servizio completo. Abbiamo scelto la caffetteria, che offriva una selezione sorprendentemente buona di cibi di alta qualità, dai piatti caldi tradizionali come la pasta a opzioni più leggere come panini e insalate. L'insalata era fresca e anche la frittura di pesce e le crocchette di pollo erano abbastanza buone. Ci sono anche molte opzioni per le bevande, tra cui bottiglie mezze e intere di vino, birra e bevande analcoliche. Il servizio è stato cordiale e disponibile. Sia il cuoco che il cassiere parlavano inglese. La parte migliore è il patio esterno. Ogni tavolo ha una vista spettacolare sulle montagne e sulle funivie che si muovono su e giù per la montagna. I posti a sedere sono molto spaziosi (interni ed esterni). Un ottimo posto per rilassarsi e godersi il pranzo dopo un'escursione nella zona di Vorsass o semplicemente prendendo la funivia fino in cima.

Great location, but awful "self-service restaurant" ... Lowest possible quality food at "elevated" prices. When I was young, we called this "Mensa-Frass". Rösti, made hours ago, reheated, bone dry and tasteless... Kalbsbratwurst, no, not even a tiny little bit fried, just heated in the oven. Pitiful. Thinking about the foreign tourists, "enjoying" Swiss hospitality - it is shameful. Hint: Get something to drink and enjoy the wonderful view!
Stunning views from all directions!! Hike along the ridge to comfy lounge chairs and watch the world go by below. Worth a look in sun, as the clouds roll in (sometimes below) and at night (especially loved watching the trains below all lit …
