We just recently spent a week in this delightfully charming typical Swiss hotel. We stayed on a half board basis which included a continental breakfast (no croissants!), which was more than adequate to keep us going for most of the day, and a two course evening meal which were really good. Some staff speak English so we managed to get by after the first night, wherby the waitress on duty did not. Drinks were all resonably priced. The room was amazing. Very large and a big balcony looking across to the Jungfrau and the Neisen. It was equipped with both a bath (nice after a hot day's walking or travelling) and a shower. We didn't have a car so made use of the local bus service (free with the local guest card). One tip: book direct and, if you are staying a few days, you might get a discount as the hotel does not have to pay commission to booking dot com etc., and get a room at the front.
