Evita il pronto soccorso. Una consulenza e un trattamento competenti sono pura fortuna. Ho aspettato 6 ore, gli esami del sangue erano incasinati, la diagnosi completamente sbagliata, senza nemmeno prendere in considerazione la possibilità di una diagnosi successiva da parte di un esperto. Per fortuna non si trattava di nulla di pericoloso per la vita.

Mio marito è stato operato alla schiena all'ospedale di Männedorf e abbiamo solo feedback positivi. Aveva un'ernia alla schiena e soffriva molto. Il team spinale e neurologico è stato eccellente (il dottor Laux e il dottor Bauer)!!! Il team ha discusso perfettamente la procedura e ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni rilevanti in inglese poiché non possiamo parlare perfettamente né tedesco né svizzero. Dalla reception allo staff infermieristico (Eda e Karina) grazie per aver comunicato in inglese e per il miglior servizio che un paziente possa chiedere. Mio marito aveva una bellissima vista sul lago di Zurigo dalla finestra della sua stanza. Potrebbe tornare a casa dopo 2 notti in ospedale. Consigliamo Männedorf !!! Grazie per aver reso una situazione stressante una bella esperienza!!

Ero in ospedale con mia figlia Il personale è fantastico, specialmente Mauro che ha le mani piumate per prelevare il sangue e fare la perfusione specialmente su un paziente che ha paura degli aghi. Ci siamo fatti una bella risata grazie mille Mauro e tutto lo staff e ovviamente il dottore. Il tempo di attesa non è stato così lungo, il personale della reception ha preso subito i nostri dettagli.

I just came in for an emergency. The emergency room staff when checking in are very rude and borderline racist. They made comments in German about me (I am decent in my German language skills but I couldn’t speak properly due to my injury). One person commented that I should speak German or go somewhere else to her colleague, not knowing I understood her. Another colleague was rude and threw my insurance card and documents at me. This is unacceptable. Luckily there was a nice nurse who cared to listen to me and help me translate. The date is 1st May 2025 and I hope the hospital administration will read this and reach out to me. No one should be discriminated against and be treated as a second class citizen.

I had my operation today as an outpatient… i was nervous and uneasy. But the staffs in the recovery were very helpful and friendly. I also heard how they were with other patients, an elderly and a middle aged woman. I find it comforting how they made them laugh during this time. The Anesthesiologist and the nurse anesthetist who were assigned to me were good, they made sure that i am relaxed. The doctor who operated on me, was also nice. Everything went well… Aside from this, during my check up, a few days before the operation, the doctor who did the initial assessment was very empathic and very soft spoken. She was also very gentle, and made sure that I was comfortable. The Patientenempfang personnel were also nice. They answered my questions and helped me checked if the forms i filled up were correct. I also had a “not so nice” experience with some staffs, it was when i gave birth a few years ago. During the morning rounds, when a staff checked up on me, i told her that i passed some blood clots, then she pressed my abdomen, a big blood clot came out, which was actually a good thing… which the second staff clearly commented, “eww”. Very unprofessional. Good thing was, i never saw her again during the next 2 days of my stay. I don’t want to spoil my stay and ignore the good things the other staffs were doing because of that one “rotten” staff… That’s why i decided to have my operation in this hospital…
