A fantastic new "old" café in town – excellent value for money, delicious food, and a very friendly team. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for families with children. A particularly convenient feature: they offer tasty daily specials at lunchtime, everything is quick and efficient, perfect for busy working people. Highly recommended.
Order: Vermicelli without ice cream or cream, an apple punch, and fountain coffee. After a long wait, the fountain coffee (with Amaretto!!) and the punch were served. The coffee was neither hot nor warm, but only lukewarm. When I pointed this out to the server, Ms. Cu..., she replied, "...the Baileys!!! is cold, too." She took the coffee back and brought it to me again a short time later. I noticed, however, that the coffee was still not warm. I then received a very unfriendly request to "have a sip first," along with the explanation that "a macchiato isn't hot either, and the coffee machine heats the milk." I then declined the fountain coffee and ordered a regular coffee. After another wait, the Nesselrode (a type of coffee drink) was also served without ice cream or cream. The price on the coupon for a regular cup of coffee was CHF 13.50. When paying, I asked if the price was the same without ice cream and cream. No, and a reduction of CHF 2.00 was applied. Incidentally, I paid €7.20 for the fountain coffee! Conclusion: This is how you alienate new customers. Therefore, my visit three times was the first, only, and last time.
