Das Restaurant auf der Terrasse des Hotel Bellevue des Alpes ist einfach unvergesslich. Allein die Aussicht ist einen Besuch wert: majestätisch, ruhig und absolut atemberaubend. Der Service war herzlich, aufmerksam und aufrichtig freundlich. Das Essen passte perfekt zum Ambiente: frisch, gut zubereitet und sorgfältig präsentiert. Alles schmeckte ehrlich und hochwertig – genau das, was man sich nach einem Aufenthalt in den Bergen erhofft. Egal, ob Sie für eine komplette Mahlzeit kommen oder einfach nur bei einem Kaffee sitzen und die Aussicht genießen, es fühlt sich an, als würde die Zeit auf die bestmögliche Weise verlangsamen. Dies ist die Art von Ort, an den man sich erinnert und zu dem man gerne zurückkehren möchte. Eine perfekte Kombination aus Landschaft, Atmosphäre und Gastfreundschaft. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich habe nicht im Hotel übernachtet, sondern hier zu Mittag gegessen, nachdem ich von Wengen zur Kleinen Scheidegg gelaufen bin. Ich habe einen köstlichen Rote-Bete-Quinoa-Salat genossen. Die Terrasse und die Aussicht, auf der man gutes Essen und die Sonne genießen kann, machen diesen Ort so besonders. Auch wenn in den Bergen Hochsaison ist, fühlt es sich nicht überfüllt an. Genau die richtige Balance.
⭐ 1 Star – Racist and Discriminatory Treatment This was one of the most humiliating hotel experiences I have ever had. The lady manager on duty was extremely rude, disrespectful, and openly discriminatory towards us because we are Indian. When we politely requested something as basic as a chair, we were met with hostility and were told words to the effect of “This place is not for you.” This statement was shocking, offensive, and clearly racist. No guest should ever be spoken to in this manner, regardless of nationality. Instead of hospitality, we were made to feel unwelcome and insulted. The manager’s tone throughout was arrogant and dismissive, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in an establishment that claims to serve international guests. I strongly caution Indian travelers and anyone who values respectful treatment to think twice before staying here. Racism has no place in hospitality. 30/12/25
If you are contemplating staying here, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. The staff acted like we were intrusive houseguests as opposed to paying customers. Any question or request was met with passive aggressive contempt. To top it off, we told friends to meet us in the lobby for dinner; when they arrived, they were not allowed to wait downstairs in the lobby for us. I don’t know who these people think they are? You’re not the Hotel du Cap and you are not an exclusive property. I advise anyone to stay down in Wengen where the hospitality industry is welcoming and friendly. I gave the location two stars because you can go anywhere else and have an equally stunning view.
