Welcomed by a lovely lady who gave us some advice for hikes. So friendly. Amazing views. Great price. Worth 1hr 3p hike.
This was the tastiest restaurant we have been to in Switzerland! Finally not the regular fried dishes for tourist. A small well picked menu, done with great care and served fresh. The staff were amazing and nice and the location and view are a gem. This was completely unexpected and made for a lovely afternoon sitting.
This is a great digital detox experience! There is no electricity in the house, save for the smoke alarm. The hosts Andrea and Dres really shine, and their love for hosting is evident everywhere. They go to great lengths to keep the house simple and down to earth, cooking and heating with wood stoves, lighting done with candles (better bring your own flash light, though, to maneuver in the evening) and one large multi-person shower in the basement. I’m reminded of “lovos”: lifestyle of voluntary simplicity. You know if you’re one to appreciate this approach or not. If yes, you’ll love it!
The design of the restaurant was very cool it has an amazing view too. We just had a drink after a hike. We planned to try the Kase Brot too but unfortunatly it was not on the menu that day.
Beautiful spot for a delicious lunch of their homemade soup of the day and sausage (especially after the hike down from the Rothorn). I would show a photo of the soup and sausage but they were very rapidly consumed. The coffee with schnapps was a delightful dessert.
Really enjoyed the experience. Will go next time I'm here. Thanks to the owners for the great time.
