Peter (the owner) shines with his passion for detail and his way of interacting with customers. Thanks to the beautiful engagement ring—she said yes :)—we also found the perfect wedding rings at the goldsmith's! Quality has its price. That's definitely what you get at the goldsmith's, plus a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. I was genuinely surprised that they charge 60 CHF just for measuring a ring finger. It's precisely these small gestures that make all the difference to me. What bothered me most was the completely matter-of-fact way this charge was handled – almost robotically, without any sense of humanity or connection. It's a shame, because this is exactly where trust and often long-term customer loyalty are built.

Last week I called and asked if they could solder the counterpart to the spring ring on a bracelet relatively quickly, as a hairline crack had developed. Ms. Weber said it would take three weeks! I don't even want to know about the cost, since they've already removed three links before, and I paid a lot for that. I declined the job and drove to Germany. There, I waited half an hour and paid €30! And no, it's not the wages that matter, it's the willingness to help customers.

It's so refreshing in today's stressful and challenging times to find people who take the time to fulfill customers' wishes, who are helpful and knowledgeable.
