My daughter and I arrived completely soaked after our hike up from Lungern on a rainy day. We were the only guests overnight. The staff was amazing, helped us dry our shoes and washed some over cloths. The diner and breakfast were excellent. Good thing the next morning the sun came back fro our onward journey.

Went hiking in the region and slept there one night. The conditions are great: spacious rooms, everything very clean, hot shower. The prices are moderately high, but then again, you are sleeping and eating in comfort at the top of a mountain. The people running the place are friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go there again.
I love to visit or stay here to have a break on a day trip/hike or sleep over on a multi day hike (Obwaldner Höhenweg). Very friendly team, great food with generous portions. Try it out!!
