We’ve been fortunate to visit twice now as a family. The hotel is a real gem - the staff are incredible, wonderful food (I dream about the cheese drawer) and fantastic spa facilities. Looking to book our next trip (this time with the dogs).
A big thank-you to the wonderful hotel and its amazing team! What I loved most were the incredible hiking trips they organize daily for guests — they take you to stunning places and actually hike alongside you, all completely free of charge. The hotel offers a beautiful view from one side, so it’s worth paying a little extra for a room with that view, as the standard classic rooms ( rather small) face the street direction. The spa is lovely, and the complimentary afternoon homemade cakes and lunch soups are a delightful touch. November is rather quiet since most hotels in Gstaad are closed, so visiting in October might give you a bit more to explore for a few days.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The spa reception staff were unprofessional and unwelcoming, which completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing visit. The lobby restaurant was even worse — the service was careless and inattentive, and the food quality was far below the level expected from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the experience did not match the reputation or price of the hotel, and I would not recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.
