Great camp site right by the lake. Some pitches down by the water and some up by the house. Great walks from here. Nice tiny camp site shop. Helpful owners. Facilities very clean and tidy. Showers need 20 cents for hot water for 1 minute and 2 coins was the minimum for me to have a quick shower, take more if you want a soak!
Amazing view!! Stayed for 1 night in our campervan. Staff friendly and very helpful (Offered wheel blocks, a bin liner, gave a choice of area to park, informed about on site food vans etc, spoke English too). Dogs welcome. Clean, free to use, individual toilet/shower rooms with strong water pressure. Left happy and clean :) thank you
Would never return which is such a shame as the setting was breathtaking.|Had booked 2 nights a month in advance but on arrival had a hostile welcome & treated as if we had just turned up. We were basically pointed to a spot on a little …
Guy who checked me in was really friendly, campsite is expensive and has very few facilities. 25 per night for a one man tent, you also have to pay extra for the shower. I left a power bank on charge in the toilets, forgot about it and when I came back it was gone, I asked about it and the other person was rude about it. Either they took it or there’s a thief on the site but in my experience you rarely get thieves on campsites. Good view that’s it.
Great spot for a campsite. There is train noise but it never disturbed us at night. Its great place to get train around rest of area though. Lovely spot to be able to take a cool dip in the lake. Also the cleanest showers and toilets ever. We loved our stay in slightly smaller site.
Fantastic views. But very little facilities given amount of people (three showers for everyone and also few toilets for 100-200 people). For campers there is no designated spots and everyone is super close to each other. We were 4 tents with 10 people on maybe 20square meter. It’s also very loud given the train and church bells. Fine for a night but wouldn’t stay here for a holiday
