My Franke kitchen faucet started leaking, as a result of aged (5-10 year old) cartridge that was exceptionally difficult to remove unlike other more user friendly faucet makers I come across. I don't know why Franke designed cartridge this way, but this is very impractical and makes any repair process rather difficult. My cartridge model number 18919 does not seem to be available anymore, and finding it in aftermarket will cost close to $100 for this single replacement part which seems significant compared to a new faucet cost at $200 in New York area. I will never buy any other Franke product again as a result.
