The oldest hotel 🏨 in Wengen 🇨🇭 we were told and the same family owns it. Having said that this place is not for everyone. It’s an old house. But if you like the atmosphere of old grand times, and enjoy history this is your place for sure ✔️. They also have the best restaurant in town, a young French 🇫🇷 chef 👨🍳 runs wild in the kitchen. Warmly recommended. 🌟
The Regina suits her name regal and a compelling Grand Dame Hotel. We took a last minutes very competitive deal. The hotel is in a wonderful position with stunning views meters from the train station and Main Street. The lounge and bar …
Firstly, the hotel staff is second to none. Very professional and he knew everything about the area. We received a coupon for the nearby gondola, which was a great experience and view. The room bed was very luxurious and the view outstanding. The restaurant was also excellent with good variety. Finally, the steam and sauna was a welcome treat after hiking for the day. I hope to stay again! Five stars.
I was here with my partner and we enjoyed our stay! We had a great view of the mountains and a good view in the breakfast salon too. The staff was prompt, kind and gave us all the information we needed. We will be coming here again when we revisit Jungfrau!
2nd time to come here. First time with family and although we had to stay in 2 rooms, it was fun to compare each others rooms and layout. Breakfast is expansive (eggs looked a little old), but great selection of breads, deli items and so …
This place has definitely gone “Instagram-famous” among Chinese travelers—and for good reason. The balcony facing the slopes and snowcapped peaks is absolutely worth it: classic Swiss postcard views with chalets on green hills and mountains in the back. Facilities are well set up, the restaurant has a traditional, upscale vibe, and the whole property is very photogenic. Rooms are well equipped, though the carpet feels a bit dated. The duvet is on the heavy side—too warm when on, a bit cool when off—so temperature control can be tricky. Staff were friendly and professional, and I loved the vintage elevator with the old-school gate—very charming and full of history. Breakfast, however, was just okay. Plenty of variety, but the flavors were average at best. Overall: come for the balcony views and the historic feel; bring your camera, and maybe lower your breakfast expectations a notch.
