Quería pedir cita porque me sentía muy mal. Me dijeron que tomara té y tomara una botella de agua de la cama, pero terminé en urgencias por intoxicación y tuve que permanecer allí una semana. This year was my first time at the Bäraupark Medical Center. I got an appointment quickly due to a sudden middle ear infection and felt well cared for. The doctor also suggested I have my blood work checked, which I thought was a good idea since I hadn't been to the doctor in at least three years. A well-intentioned assistant took the blood sample that had already been drawn that day. However, this wasn't such a good idea, as the middle ear infection also affected other blood values. The two simultaneous appointments also caused confusion with the billing, which resulted in a lot of extra work for both me and the practice team. The practice team was always friendly and helpful, which I greatly appreciated, but I was also billed for the additional work, which I don't think is fair – especially since some of the errors were on the practice team's part. The reason for deducting even more stars, however, is the way the check-up was handled. After having a follow-up appointment for blood work, during which I was also scheduled to see the doctor even though I had asked if the results would be available quickly (the answer was yes), I was very disappointed. This consultation was simply a delaying tactic that I had to pay for. I only wanted the results of my recently drawn blood, but instead, I was asked how I was feeling, and previously discussed blood test results were explained again (some of which even contradicted what I had been told before). Then the doctor even googled what eggs are good for and told me I should google it too. He then wanted to prescribe me medication for blood test results that were already within the normal range. He also asked if he should measure my blood pressure because of dizziness—even though I had never mentioned dizziness and never experience it. And the actual results I was there for weren't even available yet. So, I had to pay for 15 minutes that were completely pointless. This experience was very disappointing and has made me consider switching to a different doctor.
