Era un lugar asombroso. Teníamos una habitación con balcón y la vista es increíble. El personal es muy agradable, realmente se preocupa por los huéspedes. El check in fue muy rápido, todos estaban listos para nosotros. Las habitaciones están limpias y son agradables. Tienes lavabo en las habitaciones, pero los baños y baños son compartidos y limpios. La cocina está bien equipada y también hay espacio para sentarse afuera. Tienen algunos juegos afuera. Y el estacionamiento también es una buena parte. Vistas desde este albergue increíbles. Difícilmente puedo recomendarlo.
Increíble albergue! Me encantó mi estancia en la base alpina. Las habitaciones privadas tienen un lavabo, los baños están al final del pasillo en cada piso y las duchas están en el sótano. Todas las instalaciones del baño estaban increíblemente limpias. El personal fue muy servicial y amable. La ubicación también es increíble. A sólo 5 minutos a pie de la calle principal de Lauterbrunnen, pero lejos de la bulliciosa ciudad. Fue increíble estar en medio del valle con unas vistas tan impresionantes. 10/10.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a little further from town (15 walk) so away from the crowds of tourists. The view from the window is amazing and right in front of a waterfall that lights up at night. The hostel has a cool vibe - lots of base jumpers but also lots of solo or couples just travelling. We got there on a Sat night and there was a BBQ. We got to know Johnny who is such a sincere, kind, and cool person who has lived the most interesting life and has the best stories to share. The hostel itself was very clean and it was never too busy in the communal washrooms or kitchen. Overall, you can’t beat the price and location of this place. It was a truly memorable stay.
Absolutely perfect! Beautiful views, rooms where great (if you can snag one of the rooms with a shower and toilet its the best!). Kitchen is also awesome can save lots buy cooking for yourself and a great spot to meet other people while cooking up some dinner. Johnny is super helpful with anything you want to know or do in the area and always willing to help out. Spent a week here and will book again when I come back.
My partner and I recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It had everything you’d need. Comfortable beds, clean toilet and bathroom facilities, and a big kitchen for you to cook your meals which was extremely helpful given how expensive Switzerland is. The owners of this place are also extremely friendly and welcoming. Constantly cleaning, interacting with the guests and providing amazing suggestions for the area. If I ever come back to Switzerland this is the only place I’d stay, and I’d use it as my base to visit Grindlewald and Interlaken, it’s that good. Thanks from Australia!
