C'était un endroit incroyable. Nous avions une chambre avec balcon et la vue est incroyable. Le personnel est très gentil et se soucie vraiment des invités. L'enregistrement a été très rapide, tout était prêt pour nous. Les chambres sont propres et agréables. Vous avez un lavabo dans les chambres, mais les toilettes et les salles de bains sont communes et propres. La cuisine est bien équipée, il y a également de la place pour s'asseoir à l'extérieur. Ils ont des jeux dehors. Et le stationnement en fait également partie. Les vues de cette auberge sont incroyables. Je ne peux guère le recommander.
Incroyable auberge! J'ai adoré mon séjour à la base alpine. Les chambres privées disposent d'un lavabo, les toilettes se trouvent au bout du couloir à chaque étage et les douches sont au sous-sol. Toutes les salles de bains étaient incroyablement propres. Le personnel était très serviable et gentil. L'emplacement est également incroyable. À seulement 5 minutes à pied de la rue principale de Lauterbrunnen, mais à l'écart de la ville animée. C'était incroyable d'être au milieu de la vallée avec des vues aussi incroyables. 10/10.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a little further from town (15 walk) so away from the crowds of tourists. The view from the window is amazing and right in front of a waterfall that lights up at night. The hostel has a cool vibe - lots of base jumpers but also lots of solo or couples just travelling. We got there on a Sat night and there was a BBQ. We got to know Johnny who is such a sincere, kind, and cool person who has lived the most interesting life and has the best stories to share. The hostel itself was very clean and it was never too busy in the communal washrooms or kitchen. Overall, you can’t beat the price and location of this place. It was a truly memorable stay.
Absolutely perfect! Beautiful views, rooms where great (if you can snag one of the rooms with a shower and toilet its the best!). Kitchen is also awesome can save lots buy cooking for yourself and a great spot to meet other people while cooking up some dinner. Johnny is super helpful with anything you want to know or do in the area and always willing to help out. Spent a week here and will book again when I come back.
My partner and I recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It had everything you’d need. Comfortable beds, clean toilet and bathroom facilities, and a big kitchen for you to cook your meals which was extremely helpful given how expensive Switzerland is. The owners of this place are also extremely friendly and welcoming. Constantly cleaning, interacting with the guests and providing amazing suggestions for the area. If I ever come back to Switzerland this is the only place I’d stay, and I’d use it as my base to visit Grindlewald and Interlaken, it’s that good. Thanks from Australia!
