Gasthaus Brünig Kulm — Brünig 617, 3860 Brünig, Switzerland

Sólo comí en el restaurante, pero este es un lugar increíble y bien vale la pena detenerse. Justo en la carretera a Interlaken, con luces de hadas que hacen que el Gasthaus parezca tan mágico por la noche. El servicio fue acogedor y las camareras muy amables. La comida también llegó muy rápido. El menú también es interesante, no sólo la comida suiza habitual, sino también con inclinaciones inusuales en algunos de ellos, por ejemplo. Diferentes sabores de Flammkuchen, hamburguesa vegetariana casera, hamburguesa de ciervo, batatas fritas, etc. Los precios son normales en los restaurantes suizos. Ojalá nos hubiéramos quedado en las habitaciones aquí durante la noche, la decoración del Gasthaus es de madera pero moderna, limpia y maravillosamente fragante. Definitivamente no dudaré en volver.

Excelente ubicación, pero no una cálida bienvenida y habitaciones decepcionantes. Muy básico, casi primitivo, iluminación inadecuada, pocos muebles. Desayuno limitado, porciones contadas y servidas individualmente. Los huevos no estarán disponibles hasta las 09:00 porque no hay nadie en la cocina hasta entonces. Pero la comida y el servicio del restaurante la noche anterior fueron excelentes.

A bit pricy but you are paying for an excellent stay. The breakfast was great, the room with the loft for the children was fun for them, and the view you wake up to? Nothing short of fantastic! Seeing the mountains across the valley with a few waterfalls cascading down was breathtaking. The staff was very nice, the food options are delish, rooms comfortable and clean. Also there is ample parking which is monitored by video. There was also motorcycle/bicycle parking in the front, as well as electric car charging spots.

This hotel is impressive for several reasons, the first being its beautiful location high up in the mountains, surrounded by waterfalls and offering stunning views. The rooms are very well maintained, clean, and cozy. It has ample parking (be careful when entering and exiting, as it is next to a busy road). The bathroom is shared but was very clean and well maintained. There are not many rooms, so fewer people will use the bathroom. The bathroom has a lock, the shower is very good, and so are the other amenities. The room has a little bit of everything, is well heated, and is very comfortable to sleep in. Towels, a hair dryer, etc. are provided. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, and check-in is done in the restaurant. (This is not a criticism, just information.) In conclusion: I recommend staying at this hotel. It offers good value for money, everything is well maintained, clean, and cozy, with wonderful views. Overall, everything is very good. We would definitely stay here again.
