Balmers Hostel — Hauptstrasse 23, 3800 Matten bei Interlaken, Switzerland

J'ai apprécié l'emplacement et l'agencement des lieux. C'est vraiment comme son propre petit village. La seule raison pour laquelle il obtient quatre étoiles est que les chambres manquent de choses que j'aurais aimé voir, comme des rideaux d'intimité sur les lits et des ports de chargement qui fonctionnent (nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec le nôtre qui ne fonctionnait pas). Sinon, nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Le personnel était serviable et il y a un club au sous-sol ouvert uniquement aux clients ouvert le samedi et qui vaut le détour.

C'était de loin la plus grande auberge avec le plus à faire que n'importe quelle auberge dans laquelle j'ai jamais séjourné dans le monde. Amazing hostel, starting from check-in everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms and showers are great, always with hot water and no issues at all, and everything is kept very clean. There are lots of cozy common areas where you really feel at home, plus a huge garden. They also have a bar inside the hostel and an underground nightclub. Several days a week they organize activities so guests can have fun and get to know each other. Without a doubt, an incredible experience I highly recommend it! Many thanks to the Balmer’s team, which is truly what makes this place stand out!

It's a spectacular, welcoming hostel. The staff takes care to organize activities so that guests can get to know each other and interact. Absolute hygiene. Lots of bathrooms, all clean, comfortable beds, and a fairly spacious closet for storing luggage. Special thanks to Wilmer in the kitchen, Darío at the front desk, and Iván at the bar and ice skating rink. The staff definitely makes the difference. The best hostel I've ever stayed at, and I would happily return.

Balmers was awesome. if you want to meet tons of people from all over this is the place. Everyone, from the staff to the guests, were extremely friendly, social, and welcoming. The staff were some of the bests people ive ever met. Ivan was so amazing. They offer activities to go on which makes it easy to meet people and get the most out of your trip. it was one of the nicest, cleanest, well maintained hostel ive been to. Its worth the price. They have a club, bars, great outside area, close to a ton of great restaurants, great mountain view, easy walk to train station, and a coffee machine (necessary). loved this place and miss it everyday. also the Indian food in the area is top notch.
