Hotel Steinbock — Tripfi, Bahnhofpl. 477b, 3822 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Siamo una famiglia di cinque persone e abbiamo pranzato qui. C'era qualcosa per tutti e tutto il cibo era ottimo. Avevamo 3 pizze, la zuppa del giorno (vegetariana) e una cotoletta. Tutto il cibo era ottimo e il prezzo era ragionevole. Questo non è un posto elegante e sembra che molti locali vadano qui (il che probabilmente è un buon segno).

Questo posto era molto accogliente. Il personale era eccezionale. Ho prenotato una camera con balcone per 3 giorni e poi ho prenotato per passare a una camera più piccola senza balcone, ma mi hanno lasciato stare nella camera con balcone. La vista della catena montuosa della Jungfrau era epica. La colazione era molto buona, il modo in cui cucinavano la pancetta era incredibile. La posizione era vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, il che è comodo. Tornerò sicuramente qui.

Il ristorante era delizioso! I camerieri erano cordiali e tutto il cibo che abbiamo provato era delizioso. La zuppa di crema di funghi della foresta era liscia e molto saporita mentre l'insalata di lattuga di agnello aveva molta profondità con funghi selvatici, pancetta e vinaigrette ai lamponi. Abbiamo condiviso un ordine di fonduta perfetto per due persone. Mio marito ha dovuto prendere un gelato e ha apprezzato molto il marzapane con ciliegie e cioccolato. Vorrei poter mangiare qui più spesso.

I truly loved my stay at the Hotel Steinbock. My room was actually in the annex building right above the Coop store. In fact you can see the window that was my room in the picture I attached. Everything about this place was incredible: Location - You are next to the only Coop store in town. You are also right next to the lift up to Murren. And you are also next to the train station to Grindelwald, Interlaken, Wengen etc. I can't think of a better place to be. Room - was very comfy and had plenty of space. It was very clean. The bathroom was also nice with a powerful and hot shower. Included breakfast - Very filling and delicious. Bacon, eggs, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, and as much coffee as you wanted. Price - I thought the price was very fair. I went in October which is kind of the off-season so you might not get such a good deal at other times. Overall - I would 100% stay here again. Such a great hotel with very friendly employees.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Steinbock. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the train and buses around Jungfrau, which made getting everywhere super easy. My room was simple and comfortable, perfect for one person, though it could use a few more amenities like a kettle. The restaurant was a real highlight, the game dishes were amazing, and breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and quick to help with anything I asked. Overall, a great place to stay in a fantastic spot.

Truly enjoyed our dinner here! If you enjoy game, you will love it. My husband had the elk with a rich flavorful sauce. I enjoyed the “bad hunter” meal which was a delicious mushroom ragout. The servers are attentive and sweet. Highly recommend!
