Hotel Steinbock — Tripfi, Bahnhofpl. 477b, 3822 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Nous sommes une famille de cinq personnes et avons déjeuné ici. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts et toute la nourriture était excellente. Nous avons eu 3 pizzas, la soupe du jour (veggy) et une escalope. Toute la nourriture était excellente et à un prix raisonnable. Ce n’est pas un endroit chic et il semble que beaucoup de locaux s’y rendent (ce qui est probablement bon signe).

Cet endroit était très confortable. Le personnel était super. J'ai réservé une chambre avec balcon pendant 3 jours, puis j'ai réservé pour passer à une chambre plus petite sans balcon, mais ils m'ont laissé rester dans la chambre avec balcon. La vue sur la chaîne de la Jungfrau était épique. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, la façon dont ils préparaient le bacon était incroyable. L'emplacement était proche de la gare, ce qui est pratique. Je reviendrai certainement ici.

Le restaurant était délicieux ! Les serveurs étaient sympathiques et tous les plats que nous avons essayés étaient délicieux. La crème de champignons des bois était onctueuse avec beaucoup de saveur tandis que la salade de mâche avait beaucoup de profondeur avec des champignons sauvages, du bacon et une vinaigrette aux framboises. Nous avons partagé une commande de fondue parfaite pour deux personnes. Mon mari a dû prendre de la glace et a vraiment apprécié la pâte d'amande aux cerises et au chocolat. J'aimerais pouvoir manger ici plus souvent.

I truly loved my stay at the Hotel Steinbock. My room was actually in the annex building right above the Coop store. In fact you can see the window that was my room in the picture I attached. Everything about this place was incredible: Location - You are next to the only Coop store in town. You are also right next to the lift up to Murren. And you are also next to the train station to Grindelwald, Interlaken, Wengen etc. I can't think of a better place to be. Room - was very comfy and had plenty of space. It was very clean. The bathroom was also nice with a powerful and hot shower. Included breakfast - Very filling and delicious. Bacon, eggs, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, and as much coffee as you wanted. Price - I thought the price was very fair. I went in October which is kind of the off-season so you might not get such a good deal at other times. Overall - I would 100% stay here again. Such a great hotel with very friendly employees.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Steinbock. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the train and buses around Jungfrau, which made getting everywhere super easy. My room was simple and comfortable, perfect for one person, though it could use a few more amenities like a kettle. The restaurant was a real highlight, the game dishes were amazing, and breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and quick to help with anything I asked. Overall, a great place to stay in a fantastic spot.

Truly enjoyed our dinner here! If you enjoy game, you will love it. My husband had the elk with a rich flavorful sauce. I enjoyed the “bad hunter” meal which was a delicious mushroom ragout. The servers are attentive and sweet. Highly recommend!
