Beautiful views of the Alps at 2400m altitude, great for a lunch on the slopes. Service was very attentive, professional and friendly, food was very nice (duck/ truffle pasta/ bolognese pasta/ lobster bisque). Very nice wine list albeit pricey. Overall, we recommend it but you will pay for the location/ views

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly unforgettable dining experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. On this summer day, we found ourselves transported to another world at the top of the Gütsch mountain. Snowflakes danced through the air as clouds drifted across the peaks, offering a magical contrast to the season. The scenery alone was breathtaking, with panoramic views that shifted by the minute. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We began with silky Swiss lax salmon and goat cheese, followed by homemade pasta generously finished with Périgords truffles. Every bite was rich, elegant, and perfectly executed. We finished with an apricot tart made to order, warm and just sweet enough, paired beautifully with an exquisite wine. Each dish was paired thoughtfully with selections from a remarkable wine list. The sommelier's recommendations were spot on. Chef Markus Neff has crafted a dining experience that blends the flavors of the mountains with refined culinary techniques. The service was incredible (amazingly, we were the only ones there), never overbearing. The décor is understated and refined, allowing the surrounding mountains to take center stage. If you are visiting Andermatt, do not miss the opportunity to dine at Gütsch by Markus Neff. It is more than a meal, it is a celebration of place, season, and craftsmanship. Reservations are highly recommended.

Great views. Very busy, so reservation is a must. The food was nice, tasty, and well presented. They were able to make a pasta dish for our kid, which wasn't on the menu. However, the service lacked attentiveness and mostly rushed. We had to ask for a water refill, they forgot to bring cheese and coffee that we ordered. They could have done better considering the price.

He served me this traditional coffee, liquor drink. It’s awesome and atmosphere is awesome, but be ready if you order this because it has a strong kick!!

My wife and I went for lunch today. How can anyone rate anything other than 5 stars ? Impeccable friendly service, love of food so rare in our days and they just love their work. It started to rain and they started to smile even more and getting us all in resetting the entire restaurant. The food is perfectly balanced and light but tasty The desserts are minute made and so well prepared. Frankly not so expensive when you rate value for money. Thank you to the amazing team there !

Food: The food was of excellent quality and for a place quite busy in the middle of ski season it was nicely prepared. The portions were surprisingly large for a restaurant of this style and caliber. Drink: They of course have an excellent wine card as one might expect at a 1 Michelin starred restaurant. The pairing recommendations played very nicely. They have a fairly generic automatic coffee machine that I wouldn’t expect to see in such an establishment. Service: The service was good. They took our jackets, led us to our table and while they were maybe a bit harried because it was busy it felt reasonably balanced with the exception of there being too many tables in too small a space. Ambiance: The restaurant has a stunning and remarkable view at the top of a ski piste, but the restaurant, the tables and seating really are not remarkable. Regarding the table spacing; there isn’t really much space to navigate so I felt like the servers were squeezing around the restaurant trying to serve food and it was distracting and in general made the experience feel a lot less pleasurable.
