Idyllic place superbly run by a multicultural staff of many colors. All are bright like the sun. The rooms are very neat, tidy and have everything a traveller could even wish for. Many choices of various kind of rooms: - work events in the mountains with big and equipment with the highest standards and state of technology - quiet rooms for solo travelers - cozy couple's rooms - pilgrim style room for people in a voyage and searching for their God - even separated rooms for practicing your Didgeridoo Honorable mentions: - the philosopher-cook. He will get it maybe already has his Michelin stars - the resolute yet extremely attentive chief waitress - the caring and highly sensitive receptionist - the future leader of Sargon in disguise as a waiter in training - the Chief-In-Command lady who leads the place like a hussar captain I met no bad staff there. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the views are wonderful. The only reason I am taking off one star is they have a very high dog fee. It’s 15 CHF for the first night and 10CHF. We were charged 65CHF for our dog which felt unfair. We had the rooms with the lake view - they are very small but still were very nice and we enjoyed the view. Overall I recommend the hotel as the staff was also very nice.
We spent one night at the hotel during a stopover with our 15-month-old baby. We really appreciated the kindness of the staff from our reception (Monday, August 25 at 5 p.m.), to dinner in the restaurant and breakfast. What lovely touches. We ate well and everything was clean. We recommend without hesitation. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay easier because it is not always easy with a baby :) artus family. PS : What a view from our bedroom et the terrass ❤
It was a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend. The location of the hotel is beautiful and very friendly service. The food is really good with a nice buffet selection. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however the bed in the the double occupancy room was small for two people. The views of the lake however compensated for that.
