He is a proponent of the least effort, his briefs (determinations) are riddled with legal errors, misinterpretations, and as for editorial errors, they are the least of his concerns, even if the reader is a senior judge. As for his fees, he remains a businessman. He is capable of representing the alleged interests of a client without ever having met them, which seems delicate in a criminal case where the personality of the accused is central to the assessment of a sentence. Lack of precision, crude and contradictory work, and this man never questions himself even in the face of legal evidence. He is not mean, it's just that his skills and knowledge are limited, even when the lawyer in me enlightens him. Yet the case was easy, but why make it simple when you can make it complicated? That's the adage I will remember from this lawyer, although the complexity of the case increases his fees. I shared these comments with the person concerned, who had the Honesty in responding to me that he has reached the maximum of his skills in the case, a maximum which, I remind you, constitutes, in my opinion, a danger to an individual's freedom. The fact remains that this opinion is that of a French criminal lawyer who is in no way in competition with this firm but who used this firm primarily because it was French-speaking and available in an urgent situation. I now understand his availability and his unavailability to carry out honorable work addressed to equally honorable Swiss institutions who are wrong to believe that the writings of this lawyer faithfully represent the client's statements.
