We were really looking forward to relaxing at the restaurant’s terrace after a long bike ride, but unfortunately, the experience was far from welcoming. We took a seat at an empty table, unaware that the restaurant was fully booked — there were several unoccupied tables, and no signage indicated otherwise. Plus it was later in the afternoon and the lunch rush was clearly over. Instead of politely informing us about the reservation situation, the waitress scolded us for sitting at a table that hadn’t been cleared. It was an unnecessarily harsh response, especially considering we were simply unaware. After that interaction, no one returned to let us know whether we could stay, so we eventually left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. It’s a real shame, as the location is beautiful. A simple “Please wait to be seated” sign could have avoided all of this. Sadly, based on this experience, we won’t be returning.😞
We stopped there with the family for two nights on our way to Italy. Fantastic location with Pilatus mountain view, friendly team that helped with all our requests, delicious food and nice tranquil atmosphere of the Swiss Alps. We'll try to come here for longer next time.

We went to this restaurant with a tour and it was absolutely exceptional! The location, the views, the service, the food!! All of it was top-notch! I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in the area. The chicken was some of the best chicken I've ever tasted, the salad was delicious, and the dessert was huge and incredible!
Nice place with a restaurant with some good meals. We managed to get there through the narrow path even with our big van for 9 people. Nearby the lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is payed parking next to the hotel.
In August 2024 we spent six nights in this Hotel. Location is awesome. Great views from the terrace, beautiful sunset. There is a small garden at the lake shore where we enjoyed swimming - and the silence. The restaurant serves very good food, staff is friendly and helpful. There are two boat stations in 5 mins and 20 mins walking distance which is great for trips to Lucern and Alpnachstad. There is a railway to Bürgenstock Resort. I highly recommend the Felsenweg. We will come back…
