Tuvimos una experiencia completamente agradable. El personal y el anfitrión fueron excepcionalmente cálidos y acogedores desde el momento en que llegamos. La comida era excelente, muy bien preparada y llena de sabor. No dudaría en recomendar este restaurante y espero volver.
Encontré este restaurante basándome en las reseñas de Google. Me quedé realmente impresionado y contento de haber hecho la reserva para cenar aquí. Todo estuvo impecable aquí en el restaurante. Desde los entrantes hasta los platos principales, pasando por las bebidas y los servicios. La sopa de hierbas alpinas me dejó boquiabierto: el perfil de sabor, lo equilibrada que estaba, la presentación visual, la elección de los ingredientes, todo 10/10. Incluso la sopa de calabaza tenía su propia firma culinaria. Las carnes estaban cocinadas a la perfección. Recomiendo encarecidamente el costillar de cordero y los platos de ternera. No podemos esperar a volver y probar otros platos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. Personal muy amable y servicial. Complementos al chef y al equipo. Bien hecho.
Tuvimos suerte de llamar a las 7:30 p. m. y conseguir una hermosa mesa junto a la ventana a las 8 p. m. El personal es encantador y, en particular, nuestro camarero Joel fue amable, atento y entusiasta al compartir deliciosas recomendaciones. Toda la comida estaba presentada artísticamente y sabía igual de bien. En general, fue nuestra mejor comida en Suiza. En particular, el especial de bacalao, el aperitivo de trucha y el especial de pastel de chocolate fueron perfectos. Pero en realidad todos los platos gustaron mucho. ¡Espero que puedas disfrutar de este encantador restaurante también!
Dinner reservations are required days in advance if you want a chance at eating here. We started off with the special appetizer of rabbit and a salad. Then for the meal we tried the white fish fillet and the local beef escalope. The sauce they used on the beef was a little bit salty for my taste. Both meals were good though. To finish I had a scoop of their homemade ice-cream and it was delicious! This place is pricey. Service was wonderful. The outdoor seating had a nice view of the mountains. Overall I would recommend this place if you want some fine dining and have some money to blow through.
Food here at Barren was great! 🍽️ We arrived without a reservation but were lucky enough to get a table. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly, which made the experience even better. I tried the smoked salmon pasta and it was amazing—the flavors were well-balanced and delicious. We were tempted to try their desserts since they all looked so good, but unfortunately, we were already too full. Also, a fun detail—their toilet has a chandelier! ✨ Such a unique touch. Definitely worth a visit!
Nicole and the rest of the staff were phenomenal! She went over and above, taking such good care of us, from recommending and serving amazing pre-dinner cocktails to guiding us toward the most incredible Swiss food!!! We had the stuffed chicken, carrot soup, pea soup, and the salad bowl, and all were unique and outstanding!!! Nicole continued to take care of us, helping us navigate our way home to another town on the trains/buses! What a wonderful overall dining experience! Fresh, fabulous food and innovative cocktails and impeccable service from the entire team! We will return!!!
