Nous avons eu une expérience vraiment agréable. Le personnel et l'hôte étaient exceptionnellement chaleureux et accueillants dès notre arrivée. La nourriture était exceptionnelle – joliment préparée et pleine de saveurs. Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander ce restaurant et j'ai hâte d'y retourner
J'ai trouvé ce restaurant grâce aux avis sur Google. J'ai été vraiment impressionné et heureux d'avoir réservé le dîner ici. Ici, au restaurant, tout était impeccable. Des entrées aux plats en passant par les boissons et les services. La soupe aux herbes alpines m'a époustouflé par son profil de saveur, son équilibre, la présentation visuelle, le choix des ingrédients, le tout 10/10. Même la soupe à la citrouille avait sa propre signature culinaire. Les viandes étaient cuites à la perfection. Je recommande vivement le carré d'agneau et les plats de bœuf. Nous avons hâte de revenir et d'essayer d'autres plats. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant. Personnel très sympathique et arrangeant. Compléments au chef et à l'équipe. Bien joué.
Nous avons eu de la chance d'appeler à 19h30 et d'obtenir une belle table devant la fenêtre à 20h. Le personnel est adorable et en particulier notre serveur Joel était sympathique, attentif et enthousiaste en partageant de délicieuses recommandations. La nourriture était présentée de manière artistique et était tout aussi bonne. C'était dans l'ensemble notre meilleur repas en Suisse. En particulier, le spécial morue, l'apéritif à la truite et le spécial gâteau au chocolat étaient parfaits. Mais en réalité, chaque plat était très apprécié. J'espère que vous apprécierez également ce charmant restaurant !
Dinner reservations are required days in advance if you want a chance at eating here. We started off with the special appetizer of rabbit and a salad. Then for the meal we tried the white fish fillet and the local beef escalope. The sauce they used on the beef was a little bit salty for my taste. Both meals were good though. To finish I had a scoop of their homemade ice-cream and it was delicious! This place is pricey. Service was wonderful. The outdoor seating had a nice view of the mountains. Overall I would recommend this place if you want some fine dining and have some money to blow through.
Food here at Barren was great! 🍽️ We arrived without a reservation but were lucky enough to get a table. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly, which made the experience even better. I tried the smoked salmon pasta and it was amazing—the flavors were well-balanced and delicious. We were tempted to try their desserts since they all looked so good, but unfortunately, we were already too full. Also, a fun detail—their toilet has a chandelier! ✨ Such a unique touch. Definitely worth a visit!
Nicole and the rest of the staff were phenomenal! She went over and above, taking such good care of us, from recommending and serving amazing pre-dinner cocktails to guiding us toward the most incredible Swiss food!!! We had the stuffed chicken, carrot soup, pea soup, and the salad bowl, and all were unique and outstanding!!! Nicole continued to take care of us, helping us navigate our way home to another town on the trains/buses! What a wonderful overall dining experience! Fresh, fabulous food and innovative cocktails and impeccable service from the entire team! We will return!!!
