Hotel und Restaurant von außergewöhnlicher Qualität. Die Speisekarte bietet eine raffinierte Auswahl an Gerichten, die jeweils mit viel Liebe zum Geschmack und zur Präsentation zubereitet werden. Die Weinkarte ist ebenso beeindruckend und bietet Kombinationen, die die Küche perfekt ergänzen. Jeder Kurs hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und uns rundum begeistert zurückgelassen. Ein Muss für anspruchsvolle Reisende auf der Durchreise durch Gstaad.
Leider gibt es nicht viel Gutes über dieses Hotel zu sagen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt neben dem Bahnhof Gstaad und im Herzen von Gstaad, in der Nähe von allem, was Sie brauchen. Allerdings war das Personal unhöflich und wenig hilfsbereit und fast jeder, mit dem ich gesprochen habe, hatte eine passiv-aggressive Einstellung und schien seinen Job zu hassen. Die Zimmer sind bestenfalls mittelmäßig und den Preis von fast 800 £ pro Nacht definitiv nicht wert. Am Ende zogen wir nach Ultima Gstaad, wo ich jedem, der dies liest, wirklich empfehlen kann, dort zu übernachten. Die Zimmer sind äußerst luxuriös und der Service des Personals ist nicht von dieser Welt. Update: Ich bin auch kein großer Fan, der beim Durchsehen dieser Bewertungen bemerkt hat, dass der Eigentümer persönliche Informationen über jeden Aufenthalt eines Kunden preisgibt, der schlechte Bewertungen hinterlassen hat. Meiner Meinung nach halte ich das nicht für sehr professionell, und es scheint, dass der Eigentümer sehr streitlustig wird, wenn er negatives Feedback erhält, obwohl er in Wirklichkeit nach Möglichkeiten suchen sollte, negatives Feedback durch die Behebung interner Probleme im Hotel zu reduzieren

Unfortunately, my experience at Bernerhof Gstaad was very disappointing due to poor treatment and lack of understanding from the staff. There was no professionalism in the way we were spoken to, and the attitude was unhelpful and unfriendly. When we raised our concern, no effort was made to solve the issue or even listen properly. For a hotel in such a location, I expected better customer service and respect. Sadly, that was not the case. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good service and a pleasant stay. لا انصح العرب السكن فيه وموظفة الاستقبال خايسه وكلبه
Do not stay in summer. Do NOT Stay in Summer. The hotel doesn’t have AC, but that isn’t the problem. The problem is that you must sleep with the windows open (our room was 88°F) and the hotel has 4 restaurants at the bottom. So you have two choices: 1) Squirm in Heat and not Sleep 2) Listen to loud people and smell cigarettes all night and not sleep I asked my travel agent to see if there was something she could do, so she contacted the front desk and they brought us fans (this was a nice attempt). Then when the other room as part of our party (front desk didn’t know we were together) asked for a fan, they told them “we don’t have fans for guests.” So I guess because my agent called and put pressure on them they gave us fans, but not “ordinary guests” like the others in our party. So basically, they lied. They did have fans. Additionally our room was directly above their break area where the employees go to smoke at night. So, all night, smoke from employees coming into our room. The maids would come in and turn off our fans when they’d come in the room as well. So odd. Lastly, paid for express laundry service for same day service. Almost 48 hours later we received it (after finally asking where our clothes were). Listen- it’s a decent hotel in a prime location in literally one of my favorite towns in Switzerland if not even the world. BUT, they’re stingy and don’t want to go the extra mile to help their customers. Be prepared to feel gaslit if you ask about finding a way to cool off. Bummer.
Wonderful hotel in the heart of lovely Gstaad. Located two steps from the pedestrian street. Spacious room. Well maintained and decorated hotel with wooden architecture reflecting the nature of Switzerland’s villages. Offer free car parking within few steps from the hotel. Breakfast area is wonderful but menu is limited.
